Netanyahu warns Israel will act if Iran is allowed to violate nuclear deal

The nuclear accord negotiated by the world powers, the 5P+1, may be a done deal, but for Israel, this was only act one. The second act was now coming up. Netanyahu left no doubt that if the international community did not keep 'Iran's feet to the fire' by honoring the terms, then Israel would go it alone and attack Iran's nuclear weapons sites:

"I'll say it again. The days when the Jewish people remained passive in the face of genocidal enemies - those days are over.”

"Israel will not allow Iran to break-in or sneak-in, or walk into the nuclear weapons club."

"No one should question Israel's determination to defend itself against those who seek our destruction."

Israeli-Russian Modus Operandi in Syria

Whatever you think of Israel's Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, you have to admit he has one of the toughest jobs in the world. Just look at what he has on his plate every morning he wakes up …

The U.S.

America, Israel's best friend, has, under President Barack Obama's leadership, has concocted a wacky deal with Iran, Israel's worst enemy. It will enable the Ayatollahs to produce nuclear weapons in 10 to 15 years or whenever. First Obama pressured Democratic Senators to swallow it hook, line and sinker - they do not even know what's in the 'secret clauses'. So now Bibi, who apparently does, must 'grin and bear it'. His only reasonable course of action is to restore his strained relations with the U.S. President and hopefully bolster Israel's security in the wake of Iran's nuclear ascendancy. Barring unforeseen circumstances, Barack will also agree to bury the hatchet, particularly with the American presidential election looming on the horizon.

Obama & Netanyahu embark on damage control

Obama - let bygones be bygones...

Barack Obama won, Bibi Netanyahu lost - so what happens now? After fighting a rear guard action to the bitter end, the Israeli leader finally threw in the towel. After forging the nuclear deal with Iran, the U.S. President will apparently be able to depart the White House in another 17 months with his grand strategy intact - no new American military involvement in the Middle East (or anywhere else for that matter). The Ayatollahs in Iran have emerged with a win-win victory. They have simply put their nuclear weapons program temporarily in mothballs and will now cash in with a bonanza of hundreds of billions of dollars.

Russian & Iranian boots on the ground - in Syria!

As if the Iranian nuclear deal were not enough, Iranian and Russian troops have now been stationed in Syria. Their mission is to prevent the fall of their ally, President Bashar Assad, in the four and a half year-old civil war. In addition to fighting a hodgepodge of Syrian rebels, Islamic State forces are also knocking on the gates of Damascus.

Publish all the secret Iranian accord!

There is only one logical solution to the firestorm swirling around the Iranian nuclear agreement - publish and be damned! Otherwise only the Iranians and Yukiya Amano, the Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, know what exactly is in it. It's true. Even Senators in Washington, who are set to vote on it next month, are still in the dark. Be they Democrats or Republicans, how can they vote in good conscience if they don't know what they're voting on? The question is also whether even President Barack Obama himself and Secretary of State John Kerry have been leaked the details of the IAEA's sacrosanct accord with Tehran?

NFL PLAYERS & IRANIAN NUCLEAR DISPUTE?

It's no holds barred, almost. In the current clash between the Obama Administration and Israel, both sides are pulling out all the stops. Secretary John Kerry has now warned that if the U.S. Senate blocks the deal it will trigger a devaluation of the U.S. dollar. Washington will hold her to account. Bear in mind that a majority of U.S. Senators also believe the Iranians have 'fleeced' Kerry and President Barack Obama.

Mounting opposition to Iranian nuclear accord

It's not that complicated. Once you get through his brilliant rhetoric, the U.S. President made clear he will not risk the lives of more American soldiers in another Middle East war. In order to do this, Obama has crafted a nuclear deal that Iran can accept - they will be enabled to put their nuclear weapons program in mothballs, revive their sanctioned economy and break out for A-Bombs when they decide to do so in the future. This is the only rational explanation for the accord that has Shiite Iranians dancing in the streets, but has alarmed Israel and the Sunni Arab states. Granted, the U.S. President was masterful in presenting his case for the accord. But once one 'separates the wheat from the chaff' what remains is Obama's grand design for the Middle East.

President Obama, tell us the truth about the Iranian nuclear deal!

Granted, this will allow you to exit the White House in January of 2017 with your Nobel Prize intact, but what of the longer term impact on your successors? Last but not least, what about Israel and the Sunni Arab states which are in Iran's nuclear crosshairs but which were totally excluded by the Great Powers in the crucial talks? Meanwhile the Iranians are not even helping you sell the nuclear package that is so full of holes.

Vienna Nuclear Accord viewed from Jerusalem

President Barack Obama has succeeded - he wanted to kick the can down the road to his successor and apparently he's done it. The last chance to block the Iranian nuclear deal is now in the hands of the US Senate where only a special 67-seat majority can override Obama's presidential veto. Although it comes as no surprise, the Vienna nuclear agreement is still mind-boggling. Seventy years after the Holocaust of six million Jews in Europe by Nazi Germany, the Jewish state of Israel could face a nuclear Holocaust if the Ayatollahs in Tehran are not stopped from acquiring A-Bombs. Yet, there is no limit to the utter disdain that is being hurled at Israel for not welcoming this flawed fiasco that will leave Iran as a threshold nuclear power in the Middle East.

Iran wants it all: A-bombs with no sanctions

Menashe Amir, an Israeli expert on Iran, says there will be no deal because Tehran is locked into its nuclear weapons project and will not give it up. Amir told IsraCast that nuclear weapons are a cornerstone for her foreign, domestic and Islamist ideologies. The international community and the Obama administration are finally waking up to the truth of this harsh reality. The Islamist regime perceives A-Bombs as vital to furthering its dominant role in both the Muslim and international arenas. In addition, it serves as an insurance policy for preserving its power at home. Once it acquires A-Bombs no foreign power will try to mess with the regime.

US Gen. David Petraeus assails Iranian Nuclear Deal

Now Gen (ret.) David Petraeus, an eminent American military leader, has joined a chorus of critics who have assessed President Barack Obama's proposed nuclear deal with Iran. They are alarmed by what is emerging. Petraeus, a former CIA Director and Commander in Iraq, concurs with other former top administration officials who warn:

"The agreement will not prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapons capability. It will not require the dismantling of Iran's nuclear infrastructure." Read More...

Israeli warning prevents IS offensive again Syrian Druze communities

Israel's dilemma: The Druze community in Syria may soon be targeted for atrocities by ISIL and the other Jihadists that are battling to topple the regime of President Bashar Assad. On the other hand, the Syrian Druze have carried out deadly terror attacks against Israel and stand firmly behind Assad, a bitter enemy of the Jewish state. But across the border in Israel, Druze citizens are loyal citizens of the Jewish state and serve in combat units of the IDF. Despite this unusual state of affairs, the Druze in Israel have close ties with their relatives in Syria and demand that Israel come to the aid of their Syrian brethren. What to do? Israel has succeeded in steering clear of the bloody civil war in Syria that is now entering its fifth year. While she owes a moral obligation to her Druze citizens, should the Jewish state come to the aid of her Druze enemy in Syria?

ISRAEL IN CROSSHAIRS OF ISIS

Is Israel now in the crosshairs of ISIS? Ansar al-Maqdis, an affiliate of ISIS in Sinai has posted a warning on its web site threatening to carry out a 'mega-terror attack on Eilat in the coming days'. Eilat is Israel's port on the Red Sea, which is also a very popular tourist town. The al-Maqdis terrorists, who are now engaged in a bloody war with the Egyptian Army, have sworn allegiance to ISIS and are obviously taking their orders from Islamic State. Channel 1 TV opened its evening newscast with three reports on the possible threat. A senior IDF commander in Eilat said his forces are always prepared to cope with suicide bombers or attempts to crash through Israel's security fence along the Sinai border. The Israeli Air Force and Navy are also on round the clock standby to meet attacks from sea or the air. In the past, al-Maqdis has launched several rockets at Eilat. Recently Islamic State has included the Sinai Peninsula into its proposed caliphate, naming it as the 'Sinai Province'.

IS KERRY SUFFERING FROM STOCKHOLM SYNDROME?

In a rare interview with Israel's Channel 10 News, Kerry even distorted the facts by claiming:

"Iranian deal is not a ten year deal, it will last forever!"

Like Washington's nuclear accord with North Korea? And Kerry accused Netanyahu and others of hysteria over the impending nuclear accord. Really? Did Kerry bother to read the joint critique of Henry Kissinger and George Shultz, who charged that Washington has given in to Tehran every step of the way, stating:

"Iran has gradually turned the negotiations on its head - the West has felt the need to break every deadlock with a new proposal." Read More...

NETANYAHU HOPES KISSINGER & SHULTZ WILL SWAY CONGRESSS ON IRAN

Henry Kissinger and George Shultz, the two deans of U.S. foreign policy, have gutted President Barack Obama's nuclear understandings with Iran. In a devastating critique in the Wall Street Journal, the two professors give Obama an 'F' in foreign policy. Chapter and verse, they dissected clause after clause of the accord hammered out by Secretary of State John Kerry and the other members of the P5+1 and Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif in Lausanne. When Shultz and Kissinger were finished, Obama and Kerry looked like rank amateurs in coping with the Iranians:

"Iran has gradually turned the negotiations on its head – the West has felt the need to break every deadlock with a new proposal."

LAUSANNE - IRANIAN INTERPRETATION OF NUCLEAR AGREEMENT WILL DIFFER

'The devil will be in the details' - Iran appears to have made some surprising nuclear concessions in the framework understandings in Lausanne but will they start backtracking when the fine print is negotiated by the end of June? The jury is still out. Although Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif was beaming from ear to ear was he playing his designated role in another Iranian scheme to again pull the wool over the eyes of the world? Was it another old Iranian scam of one foot forward and then two steps back in the upcoming and binding round of talks to be finalized by the end of June? This is the big question that Israel will be watching in the months ahead. And with good reason; if Iran, a known con artist which has lied and cheated repeatedly in the past, still insists that its entire nuclear project has always been for peaceful purposes, then 'buyer beware!'

SUNNI ARAB STATES TAKE ON IRAN IN YEMEN

The flashpoint between Shiite and Sunni Islam has erupted in Yemen. After Shiite Iran armed Houthi rebels to the hilt, they have ousted the Sunni regime of Sunni President Abd Mansour Hadi. Neighboring Saudi Arabia has had enough. The Sunni regime in Riyadh has launched a major offensive into Yemen with 100 aircraft and an estimated 150,000 troops. Egypt has also dispatched troops, ships and aircraft to fight against the Shiite rebels in Yemen.

NETANYAHU & OBAMA CLASH IN CONGRESSIONAL SHOWDOWN

With the eyes and ears of the world focused on the U.S. Congress, Bibi Netanyahu railed at America's impending nuclear deal with Iran - Barack Obama was not impressed. The U.S. President said there was 'nothing new' in the Israel's leader's warning:

"We don't yet have a deal. But if we are successful, this will be the best deal possible with Iran to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon... On the core issue, which is how do we prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, which would make it far more dangerous and would give it scope for even greater action in the region, the prime minister didn't offer any viable alternatives."

WILL IRAN ACQUIRE A-BOMBS ON INSTALLMENT PLAN?

The fanatical Revolutionary Guards put on the show to reveal who is really calling the shots in Tehran. There is no way they are going to accept the dismantling of the nuclear weapons program. This, in the midst of the current nuclear talks in which President Obama, Secretary Kerry, and National Security Adviser Rice are turning over backwards trying to sell a nuclear deal - one that will enable the Ayatollahs to keep their uranium enrichment capability, and who knows what else, while the sanctions are gradually lifted. Then after a period of so many years the international inspection will expire. In other words, it opens this nuclear spectre: the Iranians are to act nice and later, if they haven't done so in the meantime, exploit their capability to 'break out' for nuclear weapons. It boils down to acquiring A-bombs on the installment plan! But after the 'Hollywood' sea pageant, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Javad Zarif must have hit the roof. For months now they have been hard at work smiling their way to closing the deal.

KISSINGER & SCHULTZ ALSO 'UNEASY' ABOUT IRANIAN DEAL

The diplomatic fog is slowly lifting over the Iranian nuclear crisis. After the latest March 31st deadline for America's controversial talks with the Iranians, and after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's upcoming address to the U.S. Congress it should be visible, to all who wish to see, whether President Barak Obama has agreed to a bad deal that will allow the Ayatollahs in Tehran to eventually get their hands on A-bombs. In light of the U.S. conduct of the talks it is looking more and more like a fait accompli: the sides are simply going through the motions now and doing the fine tuning on the done deal.

Forget about Israeli leaders like Netanyahu and pundits like me who take a grim view of how Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Javad Zarif have been conning Kerry and Obama. (Why wouldn't they be grinning all the time if they're getting their way?).
